NSW Seniors Peer Education Centre
The NSW Seniors Peer Education Centre is offering free information sessions on depression to seniors groups, clubs and services. Entitled Beyond Maturity Blues, the session, increases awareness of the symptoms, causes, and treatments of depression, and that it is not just a part of getting older.
Around one million Australian adults live with this treatable illness each year, so it's a topic of great relevance to all older people, carers, friends and families. The sessions comes with free high quality handouts, too.
