- Try different software
While most media software is compatible with our stream, some people have had trouble with particular software. We reccomend you try VLC or iTunes to listen to our stream. Also, have you tried our flash player? - Try a different computer
If you have another computer connected to the internet in your house, give that a go and see if you can listen to us on that other computer. - Try during a different time of day
If you're having trouble in the morning, try again in the evening, or vice verse. The internet can do strange things, sometimes. - Check to see if anyone else is using your internet
If you have limited bandwidth from your ISP, but multiple computers on your network, you may have trouble getting enough speed for the streaming.
Frequently Asked Questions
What speed do you stream at?
We stream at 64Kbps.
How much of my allowance will this use?
64Kbps audio will use roughly 28MB per hour, which isn't that much if your plan has reasonable download limits. However, it can add up. For example, if you listen for three hours per day, this translates to 2.6GB in a month.
What codecs do you support?
We currently offer AAC+ and MP3 streaming, avaliable through two different URLs on the homepage.
Why can't I listen at work/school?
If you can't listen to us at work or school, it's probably because your network administrator has blocked the port which we are broadcasting the stream with. There's nothing we can do about this. Ask your network admin and see if he will be kind enough to unblock it for you.
Who can I email for help?
If you're still having trouble with the stream, you can send an email through to Anthony Eden.
