Bassikly Grooving
Bassikly Grooving features a blend of Modern Contemporary Jazz, R&B, Latin, Soul, Funk and Fusion, presented by Larry Price every Sunday from 11am until 2pm.
Larry Price is a professional Bass player with over 40 years experience, and tries to make sure that each track played has a groovy Bass line, thus the name 'Bassikly Grooving'. If it doesn't groove it doesn't get played - it's as simple as that.
Larry is constantly adding new music to the show to keep it up to date and vibrant, but of couse there are plenty of old favourites.
About Larry Price
I have been a member of 2CCR for 14 years and have served on the board twice where I held the positions of Technical Manager, Head of Training and Director of Music. I have had over 20 years experience as a broadcast professional in both radio and television and as a lecturer in audio at AFTRS.
I am also a professional musician playing Bass for over 40 years mostly doing sessions and club gigs. I am a music arranger and an honorary member of the Music Arrangers Guild of Australia (MAGA). I completed the Jazz Studies Course at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 1982.
